3. For the purpose of this question, we are going to view your first blog post (Part “B” Question #1) as an introductory online campaign. Please answer the following questions:
a. What is your intended goal and why? (3 marks)
The intended goal for this campaign is to give my readers an initial and general understanding of who BAKED is. I wanted to let readers know what our business does and allow them to see some of our personality. This is also BAKED’s first opportunity to connect with readers so it’s important to make a good first impression. The goal was to effectively convey my brand voice (informal and playful) to my audience while also providing a lot of information without sounding boring. I ultimately wanted to engage readers with this content so they would be interested in future BAKED content.
b. Who are you writing for and why? (3 marks)
I am writing for cannabis consumers and/or enthusiasts who can relate to getting the late night munchies. This is the intended audience for my business, so I catered my writing to suit what I believed would be interpreted or read best by that audience. I am writing for people who will be interested in purchasing my product or reading the content I provide. This will allow me to better connect with my intended audience which will improve my brand identity and likely increase sales.
c. What type of “Experience” will you be creating for the visitors? Please explain and justify your reasoning. (2 marks)
I will be creating a welcoming experience for my readers. I want them to feel drawn towards my brand after reading this content and compelled to visit the cafe and follow BAKED on social media platforms. I want a readers first experience with BAKED to leave them feeling positively about our brand.
